Common questions

STRIX runs on Windows 10 and 11 as a desktop application. The OpenSees solver is bundled — no separate install.
No. STRIX drives OpenSees for you — linear, modal, response-spectrum, Pushover and nonlinear time-history analysis run without any scripting.
No. Models are analyzed locally on your machine. AI features are opt-in and use your own Anthropic API key, talking directly to the provider.
The app auto-updates to the latest release and shows a What's New summary. You can always find the full release notes on GitHub.
